Anyone had any experiencing upgrading to Monterey yet and using Logic with 3rd party plugins? I'm going to be waiting a while to upgrade (I have a MacBook Pro, 2020 M1), but was just curious if anyone else has taken the plunge and what their experience is like!

2021.10.25 14:00 Equivalent-Tailor-62 Food with Back
This is the one year anniversary that I fell off my roof and broke my back. I'm completely healed and want to begin my annual tradition of consuming a meal that includes a food item with the word "back" in the title.
So far I can only think of:
2021.10.25 14:00 G0merPyle Pre everything, but sometimes it feels good to be happy with how I look
2021.10.25 14:00 TikisFury Waffles Plus on Monroe
Possibly the best breakfast place in town. Everything is made fresh, and oh my god it’s so good. And cheap! $15 bucks gets you a chicken fried steak with gravy and a waffle (both the size of my face), a thing of eggs served however you like and a mound of hash browns. Plus the staff there is pretty much exclusively elderly ladies who refer to you as “hun” while they fill your coffee. The owner is there every morning from open to close and he’s great to talk to as well!
The place looks a little sketchy at first, but come on, the best food comes from places like that. It gives me warm and fuzzy feelings every time I eat there.

Aside from Tiamat still getting no love on the skins side, the Transformers crossover is the perfect opportunity to give them a skin. They already literally transform from standing to crawling, which is perfect for switching from a standing autobot to a caplane.

Being able to just buy it all for under 2000 septims seems like a bargain to me because of how much time I spent making all but one of the rooms in Lakeview Manor myself from scratch.

2021.10.25 14:00 __mihajlo_m Will Clash Royale rise again?
I have read the patch notes, and to me, it seems like a massive rework. Of course, CR wont reach its prime (2016-2017) but it will for sure bring back many players. What do you think?

2021.10.25 14:00 Imaginary-Ad-23 Laurent Perrier Grand Siècle # 23
FRW offering at £260/mag (below is a copy/paste from their email)
· Grand Siècle is always a multi-vintage blend of three different years, with each vintage chosen in order to provide balance across structure, freshness, depth and texture culminating in an incredibly elegant and vinous Champagne
· The blend is made from grapes taken from 11 Grand Cru sites with a dominance of Chardonnay in the blend (58%) and with ten years on the lees before release
· Each release is given an Iteration number, and that number is now displayed on the bottle to allow the releases to be distinguished from one another
· Iteration #23 was initially released in 2017 in bottle, but without an Iteration number on the bottle, so this is actually the first time it has been released in this way!
As William Kelley explains “Grand Siècle is a blend of three complementary vintages—put simply, one to provide structure, another freshness and a third, flesh.” It is then aged for a minimum of 10 years.
Whilst long having been a favourite of many Champagne aficionados, Laurent Perrier only introduced iteration numbering for Grand Siecle last year, which will make it much easier for collectors to know what they have in the cellar from now on and keep track of each release.
In the 62 years since Grand Siecle was first released in 1959, this is only the 23rd iteration and we think it will be the one to make Champagne lovers pay real attention to the immense potential here. Especially in magnums, the #23 is incredibly fresh and youthful still – remarkable for the age of the vintages in the blend, but also testament to chef de cave of 47 years (and also winemaker at Salon) Michel Fauconnet’s blending abilities.
With more exciting iterations coming down the line (vintages like 2008 and 2012 will certainly feature in future blends) and the critics paying serious attention, now is the time to secure these on release.

Fabulous aromas of brioche, pie crust, lemon tart and fresh apple. Full-bodied, very dense and layered with freshness and energy that couples well with the palate. Powerful acidity gives great structure to this. Goes on for minutes. Extremely structured. Three vintages – 2006 (65%), 2004 (20%) and 2002 (15%). Blend of 58% chardonnay and 42% pinot noir. From 11 grand crus. Aged in magnums. One for the cellar. Available only magnum. In Europe from mid-October 2021. Drink or hold. www.jamessuckling.com

The 23rd iteration of this unusual prestige cuvée was released in bottle in 2017 but without the '23' on the label. And even in this case it is only on the neck and back labels. It's the usual blend of three vintages of grand cru ingredients, in this case the highest-ever proportion of Chardonnay: 58% from the Côte des Blancs with 42% of Pinot Noir from mainly the north of the Montagne de Reims. The blend, of 65% 2006, 20% 2004 and 15% 2002, spent a full 14 years on the lees. They will disgorge usually annually with 7 g/l dosage in this case. The ingredients came from small plots in 11 different grands crus: Le Mesnil, Avize, Cramant, Chouilly and Oger for the Chardonnay and Ambonnay, Bouzy, Verzy, Verzenay, Mailly and their base Tours-sur-Marne for the Pinot Noir. None of these details is given on the front or back label however.
Deep straw. Even immediately on opening the room was full of the aroma of a beautifully balanced, vital champagne with lots of age but no heaviness. There's a certain amount of richness but the richness of age, and it's clear that Chardonnay is the dominant ingredient. Really zingy nose with a tiny, almost invisible, bead that is refreshing without being remotely aggressive. There is some sensation of confit lemons (including a hint of saltiness) and this is really very, very lively. But the most obvious quality of this wine is its incredible persistence. It deserves so much attention. I commented to Lucie Pereyre de Nonancourt, granddaughter of the founder, Bernard de Nonancourt, that I felt it would be a shame to serve it at a wedding where its superior character might be overlooked but I don't think she agreed. www.jancisrobinson.com

Being released in magnum, the NV Brut Grand Siècle #23 is showing beautifully, mingling aromas of peach, pear, fresh pastry, citrus oil, buttered toast and white flowers. Full-bodied, fleshy and ample, it's elegantly gourmand, with fabulous depth and a long, expansive finish. This is a blend based on 2006, complemented by 2004 and 2002. The volume and texture characteristic of the 2006 and 2002 vintages take the lead here, with the 2004 bringing supplemental aromatic complexity. One of the more demonstrative recent renditions of Grand Siècle, this is a fabulous choice for drinking over the next decade or two. www.robertparker.com

The NV Brut Grande Cuvée Grand Siècle No. 23 (Magnum) is fascinating to taste within the context of the other wines in the series. The No. 23 is a decidedly vinous, ample Grande Siècle built on texture and resonance more than anything else. Lemon confit, lemon oil, marzipan, dried flowers and spice all flesh out as the wine opens up with air. The blend is 2006 (65%), 2004 (20%) and 2002 (15%). Disgorged May 27, 2019. (Originally published in August 2020). www.vinous.com
The first overwhelming impression of the new Grand Siecle Iteration #23 on the nose is one of incredible freshness and primary appeal – fresh peaches and apricots, white flowers and lemon sherbet, chalky mineral notes and just a touch of pastry and brioche are delightfully exuberant and vibrant on the nose. On the palate, the freshness and ample juiciness is mirrored, but with additional layers and complexity of lovely almond marzipan creaminess and an underlying tension, grip and energy. Although friendly in profile, there is serious depth and structure here and the persistence is just incredible. Really impressive and delicious, with such a long, promising life ahead.

2021.10.25 14:00 Hopeless_Nameless Help me, I'm confused
Hey guys! So, recently I have been questioning my sexuality once again. I figured out that I wasn't straight about two years ago. I was 16 back then, and I was convinced that I was bi, because I had crushes on guys and girls. I never questioned my attraction to boys, however I have never had a real life crush on a boy. I had crushes on celebrities and fictional characters, but I never once had a crush on a realistic human male. I was considering that I might just be ace, but it's not the same with girls. I realised that I'm attracted to girls, so I just called myself bi and I came out to my closest friends. But now I'm wondering: what if I'm a really confused lesbian? I did a lot of soul searching, and altough I never had sex, and never had a relationship (I'm 18 btw, and feel super duper insecure about not being in a romantic relationship ever) I'm not interested in heterosexual itimacy. I would very much like to have sex with a woman, but I can't say the same thing with a man. You would think that the answer is clear than, I'm a lesbian, but I'm not convinced. When it comes to romantic relationships, I can imagine myself with a person of any gender. Based on that, I thought I could be bi or panromantic and homosexual. But this "thing" doesn't really have a label, so I'm not sure what to use. I might just call myself queer because it fits everybody who's not cishet. What do you think? I'm extremely confused and indecisive. Also, considering that I've never been touched before, I might be wrong about the whole thing.
I apologise for any gramatical and spelling errors, English is my second language.
